" I think Naz is the best I have come across in my seven years

of photographig weddings and portraits!"

The last thing a bride needs to worry about is how she will look on her

wedding day!  Here are some tips to help you look and feel your best on

your BIG Day.

Skincare- Avoid any new procedures or products on  your skin the week of

your wedding.  Stay out of the sun and avoid a sunburn or even a suntan,

makeup will not sit well on burned or tanned skin.

Keep skin clean, hydrated and exfoliate before the

big day.  It's a good idea to remember to exfoliate

your lips to keep them kissably soft.

Eating Right- Its so easy to forget to eat well

with all the excitement surrounding a wedding.

Its essential you have a good solid breakfast the

morning of your wedding which will sustain you

the better part of the day.  If your ceremony isn't

until later in the day, make sure to eat a small

snack.  My favorite recommendation is to eat 2 hard boiled eggs,

they're nutritious, fast and easy to pack and eat on the run.   The last

thing a bride should do is go on an empty stomach on her wedding day.

Makeup choices- Your special day is not the time to start a trend.

You'll want to see your pictures for years to come and appreciate how

classic you looked.  Strive for a look that maximizes

your best features.  If you have small eyes, don't go for a

smokey eye.  If you don't like your teeth, don't use a

bright lipstick.  Neutral, warm and matte colors are

more classic and translate better in photography.

Ask around- Talk to anyone involved with your wedding

from your florist to your caterer for a list of referrals for

you.  Once you find a few makeup artists to choose from, review their

portfolios and speak to them in person.  You should have a comfortable

rapport with them and be able to communicate your likes and dislikes.  If

you feel put off or feel you'd hurt their feelings, its probably not the right

match.  Another essential element to beautiful makeup is to be sure your

makeup is photography appropriate.  There is a definate difference!  Make

sure your makeup artist has at the least basic knowledge of photography

appropriate makeup.
